Job Description
Job title: Senior Audit Manager – Enterprise Risk Management Role Summary: Lead audit function for the 2LOD Enterprise Risk Management unit, designing and executing risk‑based audit programs, driving continuous monitoring, and communicating findings to senior leadership. Expectations: • Own audit scope, budget, and resource planning within assigned risk areas. • Mentor and develop lower‑level auditors, ensuring high quality deliverables. • Maintain compliance with all bank policies, regulatory requirements, and OCC Heightened Standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop audit budget estimates and annual risk assessment/audit plan. - Lead continuous monitoring activities for assigned risk domain (Risk Governance, Risk Appetite, Issue Management, Policy & Management Committee Governance, Cultural & Conduct Risk, Strategic Risk, Reputation Risk). - Execute detailed audit programs, conduct testing, analyze results, and prepare concise reports and presentations. - Review and provide technical feedback on audit work of subordinates. - Manage audit resources to meet budget and schedule targets. - Build and sustain relationships with management of auditable units. - Stay current on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and evolving audit methodologies. - Participate in hiring processes and performance evaluations for audit staff. - Complete mandatory training, including relevant banking regulations and ethical standards. Required Skills: - Strong managerial, organizational, and communication abilities (verbal & written). - Proficiency in audit methodology, risk assessment, continuous monitoring, and data analytics. - Ability to analyze complex financial and operational processes and identify control gaps. - Leadership experience with mentoring and coaching audit staff. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). - Minimum 7 years of audit experience. - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required; additional credentials such as CIA, CISA, or CFA preferred.
