**Job title:** Senior Angular Developer
**Role Summary:**
Senior Frontend Engineer focused on Angular v16+ tasked with designing and delivering scalable, AI‑enhanced, cloud‑native web applications. Works as a contractor, collaborating with engineering leadership and cross‑functional teams to integrate Google Cloud Platform services and emerging AI tools into user‑centric experiences.
**Expectations:**
- Lead architectural decisions and component design for complex frontend systems.
- Deliver production‑ready code within agreed timelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in coding, testing, and performance.
- Act as the primary liaison for AI integration efforts and cloud‑native architecture.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain high‑quality Angular (v16+) applications using TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular CLI.
- Design reusable component libraries and enforce coding standards.
- Integrate AI/automation features via GCP services (Cloud Functions, Vertex AI, AutoML, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with backend, UX, and product teams to define requirements and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and SEO across major browsers and devices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and champion continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in Angular, cloud services, and AI technologies, recommending improvements to the product roadmap.
**Required Skills:**
- 7+ years of professional frontend development experience; 5+ years with Angular.
- Deep proficiency in Angular ecosystem (CLI, RxJS, NgRx, Angular Material).
- Strong TypeScript expertise and modern JavaScript/ES6+ knowledge.
- Hands‑on experience with GCP (Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Firestore, Vertex AI).
- Proven ability to embed AI/ML capabilities into web applications.
- Solid understanding of RESTful/GraphQL APIs, WebSocket, and real‑time data handling.
- Performance optimization, responsive design, accessibility (WCAG) compliance.
- Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Angular certifications (e.g., Angular Developer), GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or AI/ML certifications (e.g., Google Cloud AI/ML Engineer) preferred.
