Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect Role Summary: Lead the design, integration, and migration of clients into AWS cloud environments, ensuring best‑practice architecture, compliance, and operational excellence. Expactations: Deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions; enable efficient customer integration; maintain current cloud knowledge; produce documentation and POCs; support migration initiatives; collaborate across teams. Key Responsibilities: – Analyze client requirements against existing AWS/Azure architecture. – Assess technology change impacts and identify dependencies on other environments. – Develop and document proofs of concept. – Evolve and update hosting zone architecture and infrastructure. – Implement cloud best‑practice guidelines. – Deploy management tools (e.g., consolidated consumption dashboards). – Configure automation for streamlined client integration. – Support client migration of workloads to the cloud. – Validate compliance of environments and resources. – Produce required documentation for end‑users. Required Skills: – Proficient in AWS cloud architecture and migration. – Experience with Azure visibility for cross‑platform assessment. – Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. – Knowledge of cloud automation, dashboards, and governance. – Familiarity with government security and compliance frameworks. Required Education & Certifications: – Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or Applied Sciences. – Minimum 5 years of AWS cloud experience. – At least 3 migration projects as an architecture advisor. – Minimum 1 government‑sector cloud migration project. – AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred.
