Job Title: Senior Manager – Frontend Engineering (Full-stack Exposure)
Role Summary: Lead multiple frontend squads to deliver scalable, high‑performance web applications. Own the frontend architecture roadmap, ensure best practices, and drive cross‑functional collaboration between design, product, and engineering.
Expectations: • Deliver high‑quality, accessible, and responsive UI at enterprise scale. • Mentor and develop frontend talent, building a strong pipeline. • Provide decisive leadership during growth, ambiguity, and change.
Key Responsibilities:
1. People & Culture Leadership – mentor frontend engineers, build talent pipeline, foster a culture of excellence, act as bridge to design and product, lead through ambiguity.
2. Frontend Strategy & Architecture – define architecture roadmap (micro‑frontend, shared component libraries, design systems); make decisions on Angular/React stack, performance, maintainability; partner with backend/cloud teams for APIs and integration; select tooling, CI/CD, performance monitoring.
3. Delivery & Operational Excellence – advocate for feasibility and UX quality in product‑design‑engineering triad; oversee end‑to‑end delivery, release management, observability; ensure high availability under heavy traffic; communicate technical decisions to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
• 8+ years frontend engineering, 3+ years people‑management or technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in Angular and/or React, micro‑frontend architecture, design systems, component libraries.
• Strong performance optimization, state management, modern build tools, and testing (unit, integration, E2E).
• Knowledge of frontend CI/CD, observability, release management.
• Working knowledge of cloud‑native microservices (GCP preferred), RESTful APIs, event‑driven systems, backend integration.
• Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications in front‑end frameworks, cloud platforms (e.g., GCP), or agile leadership are a plus.
