Job Description
Job title: Business Intelligence Engineer II Role Summary: Engineer scalable BI solutions for fulfillment operations, leveraging data modeling, ETL, and advanced analytics to provide actionable insights and automated KPI reporting. Expectations: - Deliver self‑service dashboards and automated reporting that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision‑making. - Collaborate across engineering and business teams to translate requirements into end‑to‑end BI solutions. - Own end‑to‑end data pipelines from extraction to visualization, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated, user‑friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and visualizations. - Write high‑quality SQL queries, Python scripts, and ETL pipelines for data processing and modeling. - Develop self‑service automated solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. - Apply analytical and statistical techniques to solve complex problems and inform business decisions. - Define, monitor, and report on key metrics and performance indicators for continuous improvement. - Conduct deep‑dive investigations of operations, identify opportunities, and lead or support implementation. - Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. - Understand and select appropriate client data resources, determining optimal usage. Job title: Quality Analyst Role Summary: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and actionable transformation of healthcare provider data. Manage large datasets using T‑SQL, develop automated validation processes, and collaborate across technical and non‑technical stakeholders to uphold data integrity for public health systems. Expectations: Deliver reliable data quality assessments, maintain performance metrics, and support ongoing improvements in data submission and exchange workflows. Communicate findings clearly to leadership and partners, ensuring compliance with HL7/IIS standards and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct data quality audits on immunization records, performing de‑duplication, validation, and standardization. - Write, optimize, and troubleshoot T‑SQL queries for analysis, cleansing, and transformation of large relational databases. - Collaborate with providers, IIS staff and public health partners to identify and resolve submission errors. - Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics to monitor provider compliance and system accuracy. - Validate HL7/IIS message integrity and field mapping (e.g., VXU, ACK, QBP). - Investigate data anomalies, troubleshoot submission issues, and recommend process enhancements. - Document data quality rules, methodologies, and best practices for internal and external audiences. - Prepare concise trend and predictive reports for leadership. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Data Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience). - Strong T‑SQL proficiency (query writing, stored procedures, optimization, troubleshooting). - Experience with large relational databases (SQL Server preferred). - Familiarity with immunization registries (IIS), HL7 messaging, or healthcare data standards. - Proficiency in data quality frameworks and record‑matching techniques. - Analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to recommend corrective actions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
