Job Description
**Job title:** Director of Business Development **Role Summary:** Lead the expansion of the company’s indirect sales ecosystem by developing and managing value‑added reseller (VAR) and referral partner programs. Drive revenue growth, deepen market penetration in targeted verticals, and collaborate across product, marketing, and finance to ensure partners are enabled and engaged. **Expectations:** - Achieve quarterly and annual partner‑based revenue targets. - Expand partner network in key regions and verticals (nonprofit, healthcare, professional services, global organisations). - Deliver measurable partner satisfaction and engagement scores. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and execute partner acquisition, onboarding, and enablement strategies across multiple regions. - Build and sustain long‑term relationships with VARs, implementation partners, and technology alliances. - Develop partner training, joint‑marketing, and sales‑enablement materials. - Oversee co‑marketing initiatives, events, and partner recognition programs. - Manage partner agreements, pricing, commission structures and payment processes. - Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Finance and Operations to align partner initiatives with business goals. - Track metrics such as lead generation, partner‑driven revenue, pipeline health and partner satisfaction; report to senior leadership. - Identify and communicate product improvement or integration opportunities arising from partner feedback. **Required Skills:** - 8+ years of senior business development or partnership experience, preferably in B2B SaaS and indirect channel sales. - Proven track record of scaling VAR and reseller programs. - Deep understanding of enterprise SaaS sales cycles, pricing, and partner economics. - Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities. - Proficiency with CRM and partner‑management platforms (Salesforce preferred). - Ability to analyse data, set actionable goals and drive execution in a fast‑moving environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - Any relevant certification in channel management or SaaS sales (e.g., Salesforce Certified Partner Manager) is an advantage.
