LOGIXtech Solutions was founded in January of 2001 by Nivedita Das Gupta and is now a subsidiary of a publicly-held corporation, listed on NASDAQ since 1968. Our corporate headquarters is located in Edison, New Jersey, our Data center in Hauppauge - Long Island, with offices in New York City and Los Angeles. We employ over 450 consultants. We are a preferred vendor to a majority of the largest consumers of IT services in both the Commercial and Government sectors.

**Job Title:** Senior Oracle Database Developer **Role Summary:** Lead Oracle database development and maintenance on a long‑term contract, designing, coding, and testing complex database applications while ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business requirements. **Expactations:** Oversee end‑to‑end database solutions, mentor developers, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and deliver high‑quality code within evolving timelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze functional requirements and design technical program, subsystem, and system solutions. - Develop, test (unit & integration), and deploy Oracle database applications and PL/SQL code. - Perform SQL tuning, database design, and maintenance fixes to meet business needs. - Document technical specifications, design artifacts, effort estimates, and test plans. - Assist QA, UAT, and production teams in troubleshooting and resolving application issues. - Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices. - Collaborate with system architects to review and approve designs. **Required Skills:** - Oracle database development, PL/SQL, and SQL tuning. - Database design and performance optimization. - Unit and integration test development and execution. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and independent learning capabilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication in English. - Team collaboration across product, QA, UAT, and PMO functions. - UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows distributed computing environments. - Proficiency with Excel and Word for documentation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Oracle database development and related technologies.
