**Job title** IT Traineeship – 30‑Month Fast Track **Role Summary** A 30‑month rotational internship covering three of seven IT domains (e.g., Cybersecurity, Services & Infrastructure, Data & Reporting). The program combines on‑the‑job experience, structured training, and mentorship to develop technical, analytical, and leadership skills within an international banking environment. **Expectations** * Rotate through three distinct IT domains, completing a minimum of nine months in the second domain and one month in the first domain before moving to the final domain. * Deliver tangible project outcomes in areas such as digital applications, sustainability initiatives, security hardening, and high‑performance infrastructure. * Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contribute to product backlog refinement, and support continuous improvement. * Build a professional network across departments and demonstrate effective collaboration and communication. **Key Responsibilities** * Work on domain‑specific projects, applying programming, data‑analysis, and system‑design skills. * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product owners, developers, QA, operations) to define requirements and deliver solutions. * Contribute to the development and maintenance of banking, retail, or corporate applications, ensuring compliance and quality standards. * Support cybersecurity and IT‑risk initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, policy updates, and threat monitoring. * Participate in regular training cycles (internal and external), covering both hard and soft skills; attain relevant certifications as part of personal development. * Share learnings and best practices with the Young KBC Community and wider IT network. **Required Skills** * Strong programming foundation (Java, C#, or equivalent). * Analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability across varied IT contexts. * Passion for technology and a drive for continuous learning. * Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a multilingual, multi‑disciplinary setting. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum principles; exposure to DevOps, cloud, or security concepts is advantageous. **Required Education & Certifications** * Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Informatics, Software/Computer Engineering, Mathematics with programming focus, or Commercial Engineering Informatics, obtained within the last three years. * No mandatory certifications, but Agile/Scrum, cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM), or cloud (AWS, Azure) certifications are considered a plus.
