Job Description: **Job Title** Software Engineer – Cloud Access Control **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native microservices that power a global access‑control platform. Integrate physical security hardware with software using MQTT and other protocols, while ensuring high scalability and reliability. **Expectations** - Build production‑grade C#/.NET services on Azure/AWS/GCP. - Deliver robust hardware integrations (locks, intercoms, biometric readers, video systems). - Apply best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and performance. - Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and implement next‑generation cloud features using microservice patterns. - Create and maintain RESTful APIs and event‑driven communication (MQTT, message queues). - Integrate hardware devices via standard protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP). - Write unit, integration, and performance tests; conduct code reviews. - Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies across cloud environments. - Collaborate with product, architecture, and cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of professional C# and modern .NET (Core/5+) development. - Proven experience building cloud‑native microservices on Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, message queues, event‑driven architecture, Docker/Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL databases. - Hands‑on MQTT protocol implementation for IoT device connectivity. - Expertise in hardware integration and third‑party API connectivity. - Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Certifications in .NET, Azure/AWS/GCP, or IoT/MQTT preferred.
