**Job Title**
SAP CAR Retail Consultant
**Role Summary**
Lead and support the implementation, enhancement, and integration of SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) solutions for retail operations. Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver functional configurations, integrations, and post‑go‑live support in a hybrid onsite/offshore delivery model.
**Expectations**
- Deliver SAP CAR projects on schedule and within scope for a 12‑month contract.
- Maintain effective communication with global and on‑site teams, including weekly onsite presence.
- Ensure high‑quality documentation, testing, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Implement and configure SAP CAR modules: DRFOUT, AMR, PMR, Markdown Optimization, Store Clustering, OAAP, POSDTA.
- Design, develop, and manage integrations between SAP CAR, SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Elicit business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Perform configuration, unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and deployment activities.
- Provide go‑live support and post‑implementation troubleshooting and optimization.
- Coordinate with offshore delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Produce project artefacts such as design documents, test scripts, and training materials.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years hands‑on experience with SAP CAR (AMR, PMR, Markdowns, Store Clustering).
- Strong knowledge of retail business processes, data models, and merchandising concepts.
- Proven experience integrating SAP CAR with SAP S/4HANA, SFCC, and POS platforms using middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, OData, REST APIs).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication; stakeholder management across business and IT.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, hybrid delivery environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- SAP CAR functional certification (preferred).
- Additional SAP S/4HANA or integration‑technology certifications are a plus.
