Job Description: Job Title: Student Placement Operations Engineer Role Summary: Operate and support Bolt6 technology deployments at major sporting events worldwide, including hardware installation, software configuration, live testing, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless product performance. Expectations: Conduct on‑site implementation and testing, manage multiple concurrent projects from inception to delivery, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and produce clear documentation of solutions and test results. Demonstrate self‑initiative, quick decision‑making, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Travel to event venues globally to install cameras, servers, cabling, and other equipment. - Configure and test hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal integration with client infrastructure. - Lead live testing sessions with customers, gather feedback, and validate system reliability. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues, identify edge cases, and implement corrective actions. - Participate in kit design discussions and provide input on technical feasibility. - Document test procedures, results, and recommendations in clear, reproducible formats. - Coordinate logistics and project schedules for large‑scale deployments. - Maintain accurate records of equipment, warranties, and service reports. Required Skills: - Strong technical aptitude and rapid problem‑solving ability. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction. - Self‑starter with initiative and project ownership. - Capacity to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Adaptability to changing travel and work arrangements.
