**Job Title:** Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS)
**Role Summary:**
Lead design, deployment, and maintenance of secure, scalable multi‑account AWS environments, driving automation with Terraform and GitHub Actions. Focus on AWS Control Tower, Landing Zones, serverless migrations, and Desktop‑as‑a‑Service solutions while collaborating with development teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
**Expectations:**
- Build and continuously improve infrastructure as code, ensuring security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Own “cloud modernization” initiatives and migrate legacy systems to cloud-native & serverless architectures.
- Deliver end‑to‑end automation for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring.
- Provide operational support for Linux/Windows workloads and resolve performance/security issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure (VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, ELB, WAF, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN) using Terraform.
2. Deploy and manage multi‑account environments via AWS Control Tower and Landing Zones.
3. Lead migrations from traditional servers to serverless and container‑based solutions (AWS Lambda, ECS, Fargate).
4. Architect and deploy Desktop‑as‑a‑Service (Amazon WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop).
5. Automate infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and compliance checks using GitHub Actions.
6. Administer Linux and Windows systems within AWS, ensuring configuration drift is minimized.
7. Collaborate with Python, Angular, and React teams to integrate infrastructure with application requirements.
8. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, security, and cost; produce dashboards and alerts.
9. Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years enterprise Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps experience.
- Proven implementation of AWS Control Tower and Landing Zones.
- Advanced Terraform proficiency; solid IaC principles.
- Hands‑on GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
- Experience with AWS DaaS (Amazon WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop).
- Linux/Windows administration in cloud environments.
- Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, ELB, WAF, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN).
- DevSecOps mindset and implementation experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Scripting/automation expertise (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred).
