**Job Title:** Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Consultant
**Role Summary:**
Data & Analytics Architect for a Cyber Division, delivering end‑to‑end solutions on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Copilot Studio. Focus on data ingestion, modeling, semantic design, reporting, governance, and AI‑assisted analytics within a 12‑month contract (12 onsite days/month).
**Expectations:**
- 12‑month contract; onsite 12 days per month at client site.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to cyber‑security teams.
- Adhere to security, RBAC, DLP, and responsible AI standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement architecture across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Copilot Studio (ingestion, trusted repositories, semantic models, DAX, reports).
- Optimize report performance, configure governance (endorsements, certification, lineage).
- Build Copilot Studio agents to answer data queries and automate workflows via Power Automate, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph.
- Implement secure data refresh (OAuth2/API keys), integrate external systems through REST APIs (handling pagination, throttling).
- Configure on‑premises data gateways and document integration assumptions/limitations.
- Utilize Copilot in Power BI for rapid authoring and insight summarization.
- Promote Responsible AI practices per Generative AI guidelines.
- Deliver documentation and subject‑matter expertise to cyber colleagues.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years advanced Power BI experience (modeling, DAX, performance analyzer, governance).
- 5+ years API integration expertise for analytics (authentication, pagination, throttling).
- 2+ years Microsoft Fabric proficiency (Workspaces, Notebooks, Pipelines, OneLake, SQL Analytics).
- 2+ years designing Copilot Studio agents and integrating Power Automate, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph.
- Strong knowledge of RBAC, Power Platform DLP policies, and responsible AI practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate).
