**Job Title**
Senior Consultant Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead technical design, development, and delivery of cloud‑native solutions for external clients. Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring high‑quality, secure, and compliant deployments across multi‑cloud environments. Facilitate knowledge sharing, mentorship, and team cohesion while supporting pre‑sales, hiring, and continuous improvement activities.
**Expectations**
- Deliver complex, secure, and compliant cloud services on behalf of clients.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client engagements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills in high‑pressure, ambiguous contexts.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Client Engagement** – Design, build, and implement cloud‑native solutions in Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift; translate requirements into technical specifications.
- **Quality Assurance** – Review and validate deliverables, enforce coding standards, and maintain architecture integrity.
- **Team Collaboration** – Lead technical discussions, resolve issues, and promote a safe, collaborative environment.
- **Technical Pre‑Sales** – Provide technical input to proposals, SOWs, and feasibility studies.
- **Technical Hiring** – Participate in interview panels and talent assessment.
- **Security & Compliance** – Apply vulnerability remediation tools (BlackDuck, Snyk) and enforce continuous compliance practices.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience in cloud engineering (Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift).
- Proficient in CI/CD (Jenkins, Argo, Flux), IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane), Helm/Kustomize, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Strong scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python; programming in Go, Java, Ruby, or Python.
- Hands‑on experience with security tools (BlackDuck, Snyk) and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities; ability to influence and inspire cross‑functional teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
