Senior Business Analyst (Remote, Canada)
**Role Summary**
Lead implementation projects for enterprise wealth‑management clients, translating business objectives into configured solutions on the OneVest platform. Serve as a subject‑matter expert, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure successful delivery from kickoff through go‑live and post‑implementation support.
**Expectations**
- Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines, risks, and change‑control processes.
- Deliver high‑quality functional testing, user acceptance support, and post‑launch transition.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct discovery sessions to capture standard and custom client requirements (workflows, roles, permissions, data integration).
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Implementation Managers, Engineers, and Product Managers to design and configure solutions.
- Perform data analysis/mapping using CSV, JSON, Excel/Google Sheets; maintain the OneVest data dictionary.
- Create and configure customer organization structures, user roles, and workflow automations.
- Execute functional testing, validation, and support user acceptance testing.
- Deliver demos, training, and “train‑the‑trainer” sessions for end users.
- Document change requests and manage scope through the change‑management process.
- Produce customer‑facing documentation, knowledge‑base articles, and FAQs.
- Coordinate with Product, Technology, Implementation, and Revenue teams for seamless transition to production.
**Required Skills**
- 7+ years as Business Analyst in FinTech, financial‑services consulting, or wealth‑management implementation.
- Deep knowledge of front‑ and back‑office operations of wealth‑management firms.
- Expertise in technical scope documentation, solution configuration, and change control for B2B customers.
- Strong data‑management skills: metadata handling, CSV/JSON manipulation, large‑dataset analysis, spreadsheet proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to negotiate scope and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Proven ability to mentor junior analysts and drive process improvements.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Post‑secondary degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or industry‑specific wealth‑management credentials) are a plus.
