**Job Title:** Senior Java Software Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise Java EE applications, overseeing the full software development lifecycle, providing technical mentorship, and ensuring high‑quality solutions for complex data‑processing systems.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electronic data processing system design and programming, with at least 4 years in a lead role.
- Proven expertise in Java EE (JSP, EJB, JMS) and associated frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, JPA 2, JasperReport).
- 5 + years using JBoss Enterprise Application Platform.
- 5 + years of Java EE/PL/SQL development; 3 + years with Oracle 12c+ (PL/SQL packages/procedures).
- Experience authoring technical design documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, conduct code reviews, and transfer knowledge.
- Ability to meet project timelines in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct system analysis, planning, and architectural design.
- Develop, test, and deploy Java EE applications using JSP, EJB, JMS, Spring, Hibernate, JasperReport, and JPA 2.
- Manage application servers on JBoss EAP, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Write and maintain PL/SQL code for Oracle 12c+ databases.
- Produce technical design documents and implementation guides.
- Perform code reviews, provide mentorship, and lead knowledge‑transfer sessions.
- Support post‑deployment monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing maintenance.
- Create and update project documentation and training materials.
