**Job Title:** DevOps Cloud Engineer (Senior Cloud Engineer – P3)
**Role Summary:**
Technical owner of a multi‑region Azure environment supporting Windows/IIS and SQL Server workloads. Drives modernization of legacy ASP.NET applications toward cloud‑native practices, implements automated CI/CD pipelines, and ensures security, reliability, and compliance in a globally distributed team.
**Expectations:**
- Operate and continuously improve Azure infrastructure and networking.
- Reduce manual processes through automation and tooling.
- Maintain high availability, disaster‑recovery, and backup standards.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Align vCom operations with enterprise security and compliance frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage Azure VNets, subnets, NSGs, gateways, storage, compute, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Administer Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server workloads; oversee DR and backup (Azure Site Recovery, snapshots).
- Support and modernize .NET (Framework 4.8) and .NET Core applications on IIS.
- Operate, monitor, and enhance Azure Logic Apps integrations.
- Own release and deployment processes; build Azure DevOps pipelines for application and database deployments.
- Rationalize Azure Resource Groups, decommission unused assets, and coordinate environment refreshes with data masking.
- Implement monitoring (Datadog, Azure Monitor), incident response, root‑cause analysis, and run‑book creation.
- Enforce security controls (firewalls, NSGs, identity, SAML) and contribute to ISO 27001/PCI/SOC2 compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce toil, increase observability, and support migration to Kubernetes‑based platforms.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure (networking, compute, storage, security).
- Strong Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server administration.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting for automation.
- Hands‑on with Azure DevOps pipelines, MSBuild, and CI/CD tooling.
- Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Site Recovery, and backup strategies.
- Familiarity with .NET Framework to .NET Core migration.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Azure Monitor) and incident management.
- Understanding of network security (Fortinet, NSGs, VPNs) and compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI, SOC2).
- Excellent communication in English; ability to work in a distributed global team.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑303/304), or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ‑400).
