Job Description
Job Title: Renewals Manager Role Summary: Own and optimize the entire renewal lifecycle for a portfolio of SaaS contracts, driving client retention, reducing churn, and maximizing net revenue retention through strategic negotiation and cross‑functional collaboration. Expectations: Deliver consistent net retention growth, exceed renewal targets, and provide accurate forecasting and weekly reporting on renewal risk. Actively engage with customer success, account, legal, finance, and revenue operations teams to streamline renewal workflows and identify upsell opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end‑to‑end renewal process for assigned customers, ensuring timely contract execution and acceptance. - Negotiate renewal terms, pricing, and multi‑year options in line with company policies and business objectives. - Forecast renewal pipeline, provide weekly opportunity risk reports, and track net revenue retention metrics. - Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Rev Ops to remove bottlenecks and drive efficient renewal workflows. - Identify and pursue upsell or expansion opportunities in partnership with Account Managers. - Maintain accurate renewal data in Salesforce and relevant billing or CPQ systems. Required Skills: - 2–3 years experience in renewals or related roles (Customer Success, Sales Operations, Account Management). - Strong negotiation, communication, and customer‑facing skills. - Highly organized, detail‑oriented, able to manage competing priorities. - Deep familiarity with SaaS metrics, customer lifecycle, and recurring revenue models. - Proven track record of exceeding retention targets and handling high‑volume renewals. - Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel or Google Sheets; experience with CPQ, CLM, or billing platforms is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Any relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Role, Salesforce Administrator) preferred but not mandatory.
