**Job Title:** Business Analyst – Payments
**Role Summary:**
Analyzes, designs, and delivers payment processing solutions (Fedwire, SWIFT, RTP, ISO 20022). Acts as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and effective system enhancements.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver accurate business requirements and functional specifications for payment initiatives.
- Ensure solutions meet Fedwire, SWIFT, RTP, ISO 20022, FinCEN, and AML regulatory standards.
- Drive process automation and optimization in wire and real‑time payment workflows.
- Produce clear reporting, dashboards, and training materials for end users.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Gather, analyze, and document payment‑related business requirements.
- Create use cases, functional specs, and user stories for system enhancements.
- Map legacy payment formats to ISO 20022 message structures for domestic and international payments.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA, and operations to deliver payment solutions.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities in payment processing.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with Fedwire guidelines, FinCEN Travel Rule, and AML policies.
- Serve as primary interface between business and technical teams to align payment priorities.
- Develop dashboards and reports on payment volume, efficiency, and compliance metrics.
- Produce training materials and user guides for new payment system features.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong analytical and business‑process modeling abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of Fedwire, SWIFT, RTP, ISO 20022, and related payment standards.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (FinCEN, AML, Fedwire rules).
- Proficiency in creating functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, development, QA, and operations teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Competence in data visualization/reporting tools for dashboards.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- Preferred: Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMP, or relevant payments industry credentials.
