Job Description: Job Title: Principal Software Engineer Role Summary: Lead the technical strategy and architecture of high‑impact feature streams in a healthcare technology startup. Own end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale systems from ideation through production while integrating clinical workflows into scalable, secure, and compliant solutions. Expectations: - Drive architectural decisions that align with product roadmap and clinical needs. - Translate operational and clinical requirements into robust technical designs. - Deliver reliable, high‑performing systems in a fast‑moving, startup environment. - Mentor a distributed engineering team of 16 remote developers. - Engage directly with clinicians and stakeholders to uncover pain points and validate solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Own large‑scale features from concept to production. - Define broader technical architecture and support roadmap creation. - Translate operational and clinical requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Collaborate with operations, clinical leadership, product stakeholders, and engineering teams. - Build secure, compliant, and high‑performance systems. - Champion engineering best practices within a rapidly evolving product context.
