**Job title:** Senior ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and lead enterprise‑grade solutions on the ServiceNow platform, translating business requirements into scalable, secure workflows. Drive implementations, integrations, and platform governance while mentoring junior team members and ensuring adherence to coding standards and Agile practices.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, scoped apps).
- Integrate with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP, LDAP, OAuth, and SSO.
- Maintain CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping processes.
- Follow Agile ceremonies, provide accurate sprint estimates, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, code, and test ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, UI Builder, and Service Portal.
- Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, workflows, and Flow Designer automations.
- Develop and manage Service Catalog items, record producers, SLAs, notifications, and portals.
- Lead ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Ensure coding standards, security practices, and performance optimization are followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, integration, or performance issues.
- Gather requirements, translate into technical specifications, and manage stakeholder communication.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives).
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years of enterprise ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide Scripting, Flow Designer, UI Builder, Service Portal.
- Mandatory expertise in ITSM; experience with ITOM, HRSD, or CSM.
- Integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, SSO, LDAP.
- Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory.
- Preferred: CAD, CIS (ITSM/ITOM/HRSD), or Application Developer certificates.
