Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Intern – Summer 2026 Role Summary: Intern will develop, test, and document software enhancements and new features as part of an agile team, gaining exposure to the organization’s enterprise‑level architecture and technology landscape. Expactations: • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science (or equivalent); • Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma; • U.S. work authorization required; • Willingness to complete background checks and drug test. Key Responsibilities: • Research and propose solutions for complex technical challenges. • Design, develop, and implement features using modern technologies and frameworks. • Create proof‑of‑concepts to validate technical approaches. • Produce documentation (flowcharts, diagrams, designs) that demonstrate solutions. • Support integration and system‑level testing activities. • Undertake additional projects and special assignments as directed. Required Skills: • Strong foundation in object‑oriented analysis/design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. • Proficiency with Java, JEE, Spring, and RESTful API development. • Knowledge of front‑end JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React) and UI technologies. • Awareness of microservice architecture and patterns. • Experience or familiarity with agile development practices. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, research, and written/ verbal communication skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Required Education & Certifications: • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or related field. • No specific certifications required.
