**Job Title:** VP, Cloud Agile Lead
**Role Summary:**
Leads coordination of multiple Agile Scrum/Kanban teams and testing resources to execute large‑scale cloud migration initiatives within Engineering. Acts as a liaison among Release Train Engineer, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers, and business leaders to drive the Engineering Cloud Migration roadmap using SAFe practices.
**Expectations:**
- Drive end‑to‑end cloud migration projects on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with financial‑services regulatory, security, and governance standards.
- Foster high‑performance team culture through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Maintain reliable release, outage, and change management processes.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support Agile teams by managing critical dependencies, mitigating program risks, and overseeing PI planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Lead PI planning events, ART backlog refinement, and coordination across ARTs.
- Manage people: daily communication, coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Design and implement Data Center Extension and hybrid cloud strategies; optimize infrastructure utilization.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Application Owners, and Compliance to ensure smooth migrations.
- Develop migration documentation, best‑practice guides, and runbooks; provide technical training on cloud platforms and tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve migration‑related issues to maintain uptime and performance.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) for the financial services environment.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP; experience with hybrid cloud and Data Center Extension.
- Proven SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) experience; proficiency with Jira and Jira Align (epic conditioning, capacity planning, dependency/risk tracking).
- Strong analytical, tactical, and technical communication abilities.
- Ability to manage technical requirements, resources, vendors, and testing efforts.
- Demonstrated track record delivering critical initiatives on time and budget.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field **or** High School/GED with 15+ years IT experience.
- 10+ years of technology leadership experience.
- Desired: SAFe Certified Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer.
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect.
