Job Description
**Job Title:** Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM II (Intermediate) **Role Summary:** The analyst evaluates client requirements, plans project timelines, and ensures compliance with security controls in the eMASS environment. Responsibilities include quality assurance of contractor deliverables, risk mitigation via POA&M tracking, and continuous monitoring support. The role requires strong communication, problem‑solving, and training of junior staff, with a focus on IAM, network defense, and vulnerability management. **Expectations:** - Deliver projects on schedule with documented milestones. - Provide executive briefings to senior leadership. - Maintain high quality standards and minimal rework. - Actively pursue advanced cybersecurity knowledge. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze customer needs and develop detailed project plans. - Perform quality control reviews of contractor tasks and cybersecurity artifacts. - Manage POA&M to track compliance, risk, and progress. - Operate in eMASS to document controls, track authorization status, and support continuous monitoring. - Advise clients on policy, process, and procedure improvements. - Use ACAS, ESS, Tanium, SIEM, eMASS to generate reports and deliverables. - Conduct quality reviews of cyber policies and documentation; recommend updates. - Train and develop entry‑level employees. **Required Skills:** - Knowledge of Risk Management Framework, Computer Network Defense, Vulnerability Management. - Proficiency with ACAS, ESS, Tanium, SIEM, eMASS. - Strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Self‑starter, able to work independently with minimal direction. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or related field. - Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent. - Experience with IAM and continuous monitoring is preferred.
