**Job Title** Lead Data Architect **Role Summary** Lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise data architecture to unify disparate IT resources, improve data quality, scalability, and reporting capabilities, and align data systems with business objectives. **Expectations** - Deliver scalable, secure, and compliant data architecture solutions. - Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the data team. - Translate business requirements into robust data models and reporting structures. - Drive continuous improvement of data processes and workflows. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, build, and maintain databases, schemas, and reporting structures. - Define and enforce data architecture standards for consistency, performance, and scalability. - Optimize systems, processes, and workflows to enhance data quality, accessibility, and reporting. - Translate stakeholder business needs into actionable data solutions. - Establish and oversee data governance, compliance, and security practices. - Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data models, pipelines, and reporting systems. **Required Skills** - 8+ years in data architecture or lead data roles. - Deep knowledge of database design, schema development, and reporting frameworks. - Expertise in data modeling, integration, and process optimization. - Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices. - Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and business domains. - Proven ability to design and streamline workflows for efficiency. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty, or similar) are a plus but not mandatory.
