**Job Title:** Senior IT Support Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Provides advanced technical support for internal staff, both onsite and remotely, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, networks, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems. Leads complex issue resolution, mentors junior staff, and drives adherence to security and compliance standards.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver proactive IT service management across multiple time zones.
- Serve as escalation point for critical support tickets and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain compliance with GDPR, ISO‑27001, PCI‑DSS.
- Mentor junior team members and document processes.
- Participate in on‑site work (1‑2 days/week) and occasional travel.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Configure, administer, and maintain IAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk, Delinea, Okta, ForgeRock).
- Manage Microsoft 365 environment: SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune, Azure AD/Entra, Active Directory.
- Perform hardware, OS (Windows, macOS, Linux), software, and network troubleshooting.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and RBAC/ABAC policies.
- Lead integration of enterprise systems with IAM platforms.
- Ensure IT services meet availability targets; provide support via remote‑access tools.
- Create and update technical documentation and manuals.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, vendors, and customer support teams.
- Guide junior staff on complex technical tasks.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux operating systems.
- Experience with central anti‑malware and IT management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and Azure services.
- Hands‑on experience with IAM platforms; ability to design and implement access controls.
- Understanding of security frameworks (ISO‑27001, PCI‑DSS, GDPR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Self‑starter with ownership mindset; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Mentoring and leadership capabilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including senior-level IT support.
- Preferred certifications:
- Identity & Access Management (e.g., Certified Identity and Access Manager, Okta Certified Administrator)
- Microsoft 365/Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure Administrator)
- Security/compliance (e.g., ISO‑27001 Lead Implementer, PCI‑DSS Qualified Security Assessor)
- ITIL Foundation (preferred)
