Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain automated marketing solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot, integrating with Salesforce CRM and delivering high‑quality, scalable code across email, mobile, and web channels.
**Expectations**
- Deliver code with >80% test coverage and adhere to best practices for maintainability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, product, data engineering) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure seamless data flow between SFMC, Pardot, and Salesforce CRM, and maintain data integrity.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and manage Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Automation Studio workflows.
- Write and optimize AMPscript, SSJS, HTML/CSS, and SQL queries for dynamic content and audience segmentation.
- Configure and maintain Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and Audience Segmentation strategies.
- Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs for integration between SFMC, Pardot, and Salesforce CRM.
- Design data modeling and ETL pipelines within SFMC, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation.
- Implement Pardot Automation Rules and Engagement Studio processes to support lead nurturing.
- Create comprehensive unit and integration tests to achieve >80% code coverage.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance, errors, and data discrepancies across systems.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement) and Pardot (Account Engagement).
- Advanced knowledge of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio.
- Strong command of AMPscript, SSJS, HTML/CSS, SQL.
- Experience with Pardot Automation Rules, Engagement Studio, Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and audience segmentation.
- API development expertise (REST, SOAP).
- Data modeling and ETL workflow design within SFMC.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM integration best practices.
- Test‑driven development with >80% code coverage.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification or equivalent experience.
- Pardot Specialist certification (preferred).
