**Job Title**
Senior AI Engineer (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven solutions that transform manual business processes into efficient, compliant workflows. Focus on building intelligent agents, document pipelines, and integrating Generative AI (RAG, LLMs) into banking systems. Collaborate with data engineers, IT, and DevOps to ensure scalable, reliable production deployments.
**Expectations**
- Deliver fully functional AI agents that automate core banking operations.
- Build end‑to‑end document processing pipelines (OCR, parsing, data extraction).
- Integrate RAG architectures and specialized LLMs into existing platforms.
- Ensure continuous reliability, scalability, and maintenance of deployed services.
- Work closely with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and containerization.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design and implement AI agents using Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector‑store APIs.
2. Develop and orchestrate document pipelines: OCR → parsing → structured data extraction.
3. Deploy RAG solutions and fine‑tune domain‑specific LLMs for banking use cases.
4. Build and maintain production environments with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
5. Monitor model performance, troubleshoot issues, and update models to meet regulatory and quality standards.
6. Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and IT teams to align AI solutions with business requirements.
7. Document architecture, code, and operational procedures for reproducibility and audit compliance.
**Required Skills**
- **Programming & Frameworks:** Python, FastAPI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, API integration.
- **AI & Machine Learning:** RAG, large language models, generative AI concepts, OCR technologies.
- **MLOps & Deployment:** Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, MLOps best practices.
- **Data Engineering:** Vector databases, data pipelines, ETL processes.
- **Soft Skills:** Pragmatic problem‑solving, autonomy, rigorous documentation, effective cross‑functional communication.
- **Domain Knowledge:** Understanding of banking processes and regulatory compliance is essential.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- Proven experience (≥3 years) in AI engineering or development, excluding internships or co‑ops.
- Familiarity with industry certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning) is advantageous but not mandatory.
