Job Description: Job title: Senior Java Developer Role Summary: Architect and build scalable, cloud‑native backend services using Java and Spring Boot, driving end‑to‑end ownership from design to production. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality code, meet sprint goals, participate in reviews and on‑call duties, collaborate cross‑functionally to scale systems. Key Responsibilities: • Partner with product managers to define technical scope and realistic timelines. • Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices and APIs. • Own services from code through deployment, monitoring, and incident response. • Conduct design and code reviews to uphold quality standards. • Work with Infrastructure to model data for large‑scale, highly available architectures. • Coordinate with QA on test plans and release cycles. • Participate in on‑call rotation to ensure system stability. Required Skills: • 6+ years backend development experience. • Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. • Cloud migration experience (AWS or Azure). • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Yugabyte, DB2, Oracle, SQL, etc.). • Strong API design and distributed systems knowledge. • Excellent debugging and problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
