Job Description

Job title: Summer Intern – Software Engineer/Data Science Role Summary: Short‑term internship focused on applying data‑driven techniques to support mission‑critical projects. Interns collaborate with senior engineers on software development, machine learning, data pipelines, and web applications. Expectations: • Gain hands‑on experience with code, data, and cloud deployments. • Contribute meaningfully to prototype solutions. • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and problem‑solving sessions. • Build a portfolio of deliverables for future employment. Key Responsibilities - Write, test, and debug Java and/or Python code for prototypes and production tools. - Develop and maintain web applications using React or similar front‑end frameworks. - Design, build, and deploy data pipelines for collection, processing, and visualization. - Implement and evaluate machine learning models for real‑world use cases. - Configure and deploy applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or comparable). - Engage in design discussions, peer reviews, and technical troubleshooting.
