Full Stack Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Full Stack Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java-based back‑end technologies and modern front‑end frameworks. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance, secure, and user‑friendly solutions. Expectations: * Eligible to work in the U.S. on a W2 basis; local candidate only. * No C2C or third‑party submissions. * Hybrid or on‑site availability as required. Key Responsibilities: * Build and extend RESTful APIs with Java (Spring Boot or similar). * Develop responsive UI components using React, Angular, or equivalent. * Integrate front‑end and back‑end systems, ensuring data consistency and performance. * Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; maintain high code quality. * Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, monitoring application health. Required Skills: * Strong proficiency in Java (8+), SQL, and object‑oriented design. * Experience with Spring framework (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security). * Front‑end expertise: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and a modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue). * Familiarity with RESTful API design, JSON, and asynchronous communication (WebSocket, SSE). * Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (Hibernate, JPA). * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Solid understanding of version control (Git), issue tracking, and agile workflows. * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; effective communication and teamwork. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Java SE or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory.
