Job title: Senior Information Technology Sourcing Specialist
Role Summary: Own the full IT sourcing lifecycle—strategic planning, vendor selection, negotiation, contract governance, and performance oversight—to secure high‑value, compliant IT goods and services that align with corporate technology strategy.
Expactations: Deliver measurable cost and risk reductions, maintain a robust and transparent supplier base, and provide data‑driven sourcing insights to executive leadership. Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations while fostering innovative technology acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategic sourcing plans for hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services.
- Identify, evaluate, and award vendors based on performance, financial health, and technical capability.
- Conduct market intelligence on pricing trends, emerging technologies, and sourcing opportunities.
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable pricing, SLAs, delivery terms, and contractual protections.
- Draft, review, and administer IT contracts, ensuring legal and corporate compliance.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and IT stakeholders to articulate requirements and align sourcing strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of vendor agreements, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
- Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all sourcing actions comply with internal controls and regulatory mandates.
Required Skills
- Advanced procurement and vendor management expertise in an enterprise environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, contract management or ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, IT sourcing strategies, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and IT compliance standards (advantageous).
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IT procurement, sourcing, or contract management experience.
- Preferred certifications: CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent.
