Job Description: Job Title: Software Engineering Manager Role Summary: Lead and coach a distributed engineering team to deliver high‑quality SaaS solutions for specialty manufacturers and distributors, ensuring technical excellence, platform stability, and adherence to Agile best practices. Expectations: - Manage cross‑functional collaboration with Product, QA, and Customer Success to meet delivery milestones. - Own delivery commitments, quality metrics, and release cadence for predictable execution. - Champion continuous improvement, scalability, and performance across AWS‑based environments. Key Responsibilities: - Build and mentor a high‑performing team of 8–12 engineers through coaching, feedback, and performance accountability. - Partner with Product Management, QA, and Customer Success to define feature scope, prioritize backlog, and ensure high‑quality releases. - Drive technical strategy, architecture alignment, and adopt modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC, automated testing). - Maintain system performance and platform stability for iPaaS and mobile (Android) applications. - Conduct architectural reviews, code‑level design discussions, and technical deep dives to keep solutions scalable and maintainable. - Coordinate with global Senior Development Managers to share best practices, apply consistent standards, and promote engineering excellence across product lines. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming in C#, Java, or Node.js; familiarity with C++ is a plus. - Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. - Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and deployment automation. - Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. - Exceptional communication, leadership, and coaching abilities to inspire and influence local and global teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role. - Demonstrated experience managing complex SaaS development environments and global collaboration.
