Job Description
**Job title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead frontend engineer building a mobile (iOS) and web platform for a health‑tech chatbot that aggregates real‑time wearable data, biometric metrics, and conversational AI to deliver predictive health insights. **Expactations:** • Deliver high‑performance, secure user interfaces for millions of users. • Own architecture and scaling strategies for both mobile and web stacks. • Collaborate closely with product and executive leadership to prioritize mission‑critical features. **Key Responsibilities:** • Design & implement iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, async/await, and Apple HealthKit, WatchKit, and StoreKit 2 for subscriptions. • Integrate wearable and medical data securely, ensuring privacy compliance. • Build web UIs with React, Next.js, and TypeScript; employ SSR/ISR, caching, and advanced visualizations (D3.js, Plotly.js, Chart.js). • Package end‑to‑end deployment pipelines on Vercel/Cloudflare, CI/CD. • Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI agents, LLMs) for automated testing, code generation, and feature prototyping. • Mentor junior engineers on best practices in mobile/web development and AI tooling. **Required Skills:** • 5+ years of full‑stack development experience, including iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and web (React/Next.js). • Proven expertise with Apple HealthKit and wearable integration (vitals, fitness data). • Mastery of iOS performance profiling (Xcode Instruments), secure data handling, and subscription monetization. • Strong background in TypeScript, React, Next.js, SSR, ISR, and modern web performance techniques. • Experience scaling consumer‑facing platforms (100k+ users) with real‑time data feeds. • Familiarity with AI/LLM integration, prompt engineering, and generative UI patterns. • Knowledge of backend components (FastAPI, Redis, PostgreSQL) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. • Understanding of health data privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR‑EHR) and secure coding practices. **Required Education & Certifications:** • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). • No mandatory certifications, but experience with medical data privacy regulations is preferred.
