Job Description

Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer Role Summary: Designs, deploys, and manages scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. Optimizes cloud environments for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. Collaborates with DevOps, security, and development teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Expectations: Requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to best practices for cloud architecture, and continuous improvement of infrastructure through AWS service innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) - Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation - Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) - Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability/disaster recovery - Enforce security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards - Collaborate on application deployment and optimization - Analyze and optimize cloud resource performance and costs Required Skills: - AWS Core Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) - Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) - CI/CD pipeline automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) - Cloud infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting - Security best practices and compliance - Systems design and optimization Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field - AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification
