Job Description

Job title: AI/ML Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain computer vision and OCR solutions using Python and modern ML frameworks. Work on image processing pipelines, model training, and integration into scalable systems. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, testable code; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; continuously improve model performance and production readiness. Key Responsibilities: - Build and optimize image preprocessing and augmentation workflows with OpenCV and Pillow. - Develop, train, and evaluate models in PyTorch or TensorFlow for vision tasks. - Implement OCR solutions using Tesseract, PaddleOCR, EasyOCR, or custom models. - Design and maintain clean, modular architecture following OOP principles and design patterns. - Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; enforce code quality standards. - Document code, models, and deployment processes for reproducibility. - Monitor production models and troubleshoot performance or accuracy issues. Required Skills: - Strong Python programming (proven experience). - Solid software engineering fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, clean‑code practices. - Experience with OpenCV, Pillow, and related image‑processing libraries. - Hands‑on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow for model development. - OCR expertise (Tesseract, PaddleOCR, EasyOCR, or custom OCR models). - Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
