Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary: Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, and SOM modules, for a large-scale enterprise environment. Drive technical strategy, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, scalable applications.
Expactations: • Full-time, remote with occasional in‑person visits. • Must be a U.S. independent visa holder with current ServiceNow certifications. • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver high‑quality code within Agile/Scrum cycles.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, code, review, test, and integrate complex ServiceNow applications and customizations. • Act as subject‑matter expert, conduct risk assessments, and recommend architecture enhancements. • Estimate technical effort, manage resources, and support project managers in planning. • Mentor and guide junior developers; oversee code quality, security, and deployment standards. • Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into the product roadmap.
Required Skills: • Expert in ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, SOM) and advanced scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, etc.). • Proficient in JavaScript, REST/JSON, API integration, and UI Builder. • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps CI/CD, and security protocols (LDAP, SSO). • Experience with data management, database concepts, and API Management tools. • Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, and performance optimization abilities.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Current ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (ServiceNow Dev) or higher ServiceNow certifications.
