**Job title:** .Net Technical Lead – AWS Architecture & Trading API
**Role Summary:**
Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient .NET‑based trading APIs and data platforms on AWS. Provide technical direction, mentorship, and high‑quality code governance across multiple projects while translating business requirements into robust system designs.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end AWS solutions that meet performance, reliability, and security requirements for high‑frequency trading services.
- Architect and implement modern cloud patterns (micro‑services, event‑driven, container orchestration).
- Mentor and guide development teams, enforce coding standards, and perform rigorous code reviews.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement scalable .NET trading APIs and supporting services on AWS (S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Glue, EKS, ECS, etc.).
- Own the end‑to‑end dev‑ops pipeline: CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins), containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS), and IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Translate client business requirements into high‑level technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best‑practice coding standards, and ensure delivery of reliable, optimized solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in architecture discussions with client stakeholders (VPs, Architects, technical leads).
- Maintain and enhance performance monitoring using Dynatrace, ELK, or similar tools.
- Modernize legacy data‑driven services into web services and batch jobs, incorporating caching layers such as Redis.
**Required Skills:**
- 15+ years of enterprise software development; 8+ years in a technical lead or architect role.
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud services (S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Glue, EKS, ECS).
- Proficient in .NET, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Strong grasp of containerization, CI/CD, and IaC (Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with Redis caching, trading API design, and high‑throughput data pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional leadership.
**Nice to Have:**
- Dynatrace, ELK Stack, ForgeRock experience.
- Python proficiency for Lambda and Glue jobs.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
- .NET or related Microsoft certification is a plus.
