**Job Title**
Senior Network Security Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, deployment, and operation of enterprise network security solutions across multi‑site environments, focusing on next‑generation firewalls, secure access, and VPN technologies. Drive security posture, capacity planning, and automation while coordinating offshore engineering teams and interfacing with business stakeholders.
**Expactations**
- Manage all network security hardware/software, monitoring tools, and management portals.
- Lead offshore staff on troubleshooting, daily tasks, and change oversight.
- Develop and enforce security standards for firewalls, SASE/SSE, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Plan capacity, support automation, and maintain scalable, secure network operations.
- Provide after‑hours support and occasionally travel as required.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure, administer, and maintain network security devices and portals.
- Optimize next‑generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Zscaler, Prisma Access).
- Segment, inspect, and manage traffic per policy and business needs.
- Install, configure, and sustain complex multi‑site VPN and TCP/IP networks.
- Monitor logs, troubleshoot firewall and connectivity issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for network tasks.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for firewalls.
- Plan and assist implementation of VoIP connectivity solutions.
- Research new security products and technologies aligned with strategic vision.
- Ensure adherence to change control, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
**Required Skills**
- 8+ years of hands‑on experience in heterogeneous TCP/IP networks.
- Deep knowledge of security architecture, protocols (VPN, NAT, SSL/TLS, IPSec).
- Expertise in firewall security design, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency with Palo Alto (Panorama, Prisma Access), Cisco ASA, ISE, Firepower, AnyConnect, Zscaler, and Cisco Secure Edge solutions.
- Strong routing knowledge (BGP, OSPF), Cisco Data Center networking, and F5 load balancing.
- Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- Independent problem‑solving, strong communication, multi‑tasking, and prioritization.
- Willingness to travel and provide after‑hours support.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications (preferred): Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, or equivalent.
