Job title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Role Summary: Design, implement, and operate the distributed infrastructure that powers Prisma’s data platform, including Prisma Postgres, Accelerate, and supporting cloud services. Work cross‑functionally to enhance automation, reliability, and scalability across bare metal and cloud environments.
Expactations: Own critical system components, drive infrastructure improvements, enforce security and operational standards, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver high‑quality, resilient services.
Key Responsibilities: • Select and deploy global configuration stores (e.g., etcd, rqlite) for secure authentication and routing. • Automate server provisioning and reduce maintenance overhead using IaC and scripting. • Configure, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot container platforms for internal and external services. • Participate in on‑call rotations to maintain system reliability. • Strengthen security posture across IAM, secrets, networking, CI/CD, and audit readiness.
Required Skills: • 8+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering. • Proven experience scaling distributed systems on bare metal and cloud (AWS, Cloudflare). • Proficiency in Linux administration, networking, Bash, and Debian. • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) and automation best practices. • Strong knowledge of security principles, zero‑trust networking, and audit compliance. • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. • Comfortable with Go, Python, or other scripting languages.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Red Hat Certified Engineer) are a plus.
