Job Description
**Job Title** IT Service Manager (Head of Information Systems) **Role Summary** Leads and manages the internal Information Systems (IS) function, ensuring system integrity, security, and operational efficiency. Oversees a team of 10 IT professionals, directs the design, deployment, and maintenance of the IS infrastructure, and serves as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for GDPR compliance. **Expectations** - Provide autonomous leadership in line with finance‑approved strategies. - Maintain full responsibility for IS budget and resource allocation. - Ensure GDPR compliance and act as DPO. - Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and large audiences. - Demonstrate high availability and decisive decision‑making. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage a 10‑person IT team, including recruitment, performance, and development. - Design, pilot, and operate the organization’s IS, including 45 servers. - Administer ~120 public websites (≈150 k monthly connections) and a global extranet serving 5 000 users across 700 groups. - Oversee MS365 environment (Teams, SharePoint, collaborative spaces) and internal intranet business applications. - Coordinate and lead complex IT projects in partnership with business units. - Deliver user support, hardware/software asset management, and IT training programs. - Supervise fixed and mobile telephony, printing, and reprography services. - Manage the IS budget, monitor expenditures, and report financial performance. - Perform DPO duties: ensure GDPR compliance, conduct data protection impact assessments, and oversee data handling policies. **Required Skills** - Proven IT management and team‑leadership experience (minimum 3 years). - Strong project‑management capabilities for complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives. - Budget planning and financial stewardship. - Excellent oral and written communication in English (fluent). - Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, server administration, MS365, web hosting, and telephony systems. - Expertise in data protection and GDPR compliance (DPO responsibilities). - High autonomy, problem‑solving orientation, and readiness to be on‑call as needed. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree (Bac+5) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Valid work authorization for France (if applicable). - Preferred: certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISM, or Certified Data Protection Officer, though not mandatory.
