Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect and Engineer
Role Summary: Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures aligned with business requirements and industry standards. Lead technical strategy, automation, and infrastructure management for cloud solutions.
Expactations: Deliver cloud solutions aligned with AWS best practices, ensure cost optimization and security, automate operational processes, and support cross-functional collaboration for seamless deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and document cloud solutions on AWS using IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Deploy and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure automation
- Configure security controls, network architecture, and access policies
- Automate operations via scripting (Python, Bash) and AWS tools
- Monitor performance, availability, and cost using AWS logging and monitoring
- Troubleshoot complex issues with applications, infrastructure, and services
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for cloud integration
- Mentor junior engineers and stay updated on AWS trends and technologies
Required Skills:
- Expertise in AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, etc.)
- Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation
- Network security and architecture fundamentals (VPC, subnets, routing)
- Cloud security, cost optimization, and high-availability design
- Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration abilities
Required Education & Certifications: Master’s in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent practical experience. Advanced AWS expertise (certifications not mandatory but preferred).
