Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Scientist (Healthcare Data) **Role Summary** Build and validate analytical and machine learning models to analyze healthcare data, generating insights that support healthcare innovation and improve patient outcomes. **Expectations** 3+ years in data science, analytics, or related roles. Requires proficiency in Python, SQL, healthcare data systems (e.g., EHR, FHIR, HL7), and statistical modeling. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and validate models to address healthcare challenges (e.g., treatment adherence, risk scoring). - Analyze large-scale datasets (EHR, prescription data) to identify trends and produce actionable insights. - Collaborate with data engineers, product, and engineering teams to develop scalable analytical solutions. - Apply AI/ML techniques (e.g., NLP, LLMs) to extract insights from clinical text. - Ensure statistical rigor and reproducibility in all analytics tasks. - Develop dashboards and metrics to enhance data usability for internal teams and customers. - Partner with data engineering to address data quality gaps. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7). - Experience with statistical methods, machine learning, and model evaluation. - Data visualization tool experience (e.g., Tableau, Looker). - Strong analytical problem-solving and communication abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics). - Advanced/graduate degree preferred but not required.
