Job Description

Job Title: Sr. ServiceNow Developer Role Summary: Senior ServiceNow developer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to enhance IT service and operational workflows. Works closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementations, ensuring integration, compliance, and best practices across the platform. Expactations: - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable ServiceNow customizations, integrations, and automations within agreed timelines. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of the development team. - Keep abreast of new ServiceNow features and industry standards to drive innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows. - Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, CSM, HAM, Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management. - Gather, analyze, and refine requirements from stakeholders. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform. - Create and maintain technical documentation, system designs, and user guides. - Conduct code reviews and participate in design discussions. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and best practices. - Mentor junior developers and support their technical growth. Required Skills: - 5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development and administration. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP). - Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes and workflows. - Experience with ITSM, CSM, HAM modules and ServiceNow configuration. - API integration, including REST and SOAP web services. - Agile/Scrum project delivery methodology. - Technical documentation and system design. - Troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and strong communication. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Implementation Specialist (highly desired).
