Job Description

Job Title DevOps Engineer Role Summary Responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of industrial MES solutions in a fast‑moving R&D environment. Expectations * Deliver scalable, resilient cloud architectures on AWS or Azure. * Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments. * Maintain observability, performance monitoring, and incident response. * Collaborate closely with development teams to enable continuous integration and delivery. * Stay current with industry‑best practices, tools, and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities * Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure). * Implement IaC using Terraform; version‑control with Git. * Provision and orchestrate Kubernetes (K8s) clusters; manage Helm charts. * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD. * Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting; troubleshoot issues in real‑time. * Enforce security and compliance standards across the infrastructure. * Conduct regular performance reviews and capacity planning. * Lead or participate in technology scouting and process improvement initiatives. Required Skills * Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure (proficiency in services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, etc.). * Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (state management, modules). * Container orchestration: Kubernetes + Helm. * CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD. * Scripting: Bash, Python. * Monitoring & observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent. * Security fundamentals: IAM, network ACLs, vulnerability scanning. * Version control: Git, GitHub/GitLab workflows. * Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Required Education & Certifications * Minimum 5‑year engineering degree (Bac +5) from an engineered university or equivalent. * Prior experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in software publishing or industrial software. * Certifications desirable: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or similar (not mandatory).
