**Role Summary**
The Logistics Officer implements and manages the institution’s logistics policy across multiple sites, coordinating internal teams and external service providers. The role involves planning and overseeing building and operational logistics, ensuring budget compliance, negotiating contracts, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and providing strategic guidance to senior management.
**Expectations**
- Deliver efficient, cost‑effective logistics operations aligned with institutional objectives.
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide timely, accurate reporting on performance metrics, budgets, and project status to senior leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, lead, and optimize building logistics and usage operations for all campus sites.
- Advise and support senior management in developing and executing logistics strategy and policy.
- Organise, supervise, and control internal services and external suppliers, facilitating change management and staff development.
- Conduct procurement activities for public tenders: prepare technical dossiers, draft call‑for‑bid documents, manage market consultations.
- Negotiate commercial contracts, verify estimates, and monitor works execution against specifications.
- Monitor and manage the operational budget, ensuring financial discipline and value for money.
- Produce comprehensive performance dashboards, action reports, and key‑indicator summaries.
- Enforce hygiene and safety rules, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Resolve emergencies and manage crises promptly and effectively.
