Job Title: Data Scientist / AI Engineer
Role Summary:
Seasoned AI specialist combining 10+ years of software engineering with 5+ years of data science. Designs, develops, and deploys advanced machine learning and generative AI solutions, builds AI-driven applications, and optimizes end‑to‑end data pipelines across cloud platforms.
Expactations:
- Deliver production‑ready machine learning models for predictive analytics, fraud detection, and time‑series forecasting.
- Architect and launch LLM‑based chatbot and Agentic AI platforms (A2A, MCP).
- Lead MLOps practices, ensuring scalable model deployment and monitoring.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing.
- Continue to innovate with Generative AI, RAG, and emerging AI frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, train, and evaluate models using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
- Build chatbot solutions with LLMs (OpenAI, Mistral) integrated with RAG and vector databases (Neo4j, Pinecone, BigQuery).
- Develop an Agentic AI platform using Agentic protocols and frameworks.
- Create, orchestrate, and maintain data pipelines on Databricks, Airflow, and Azure services.
- Conduct A/B testing and hypothesis testing for product pricing/optimization.
- Automate reporting processes with Looker, Data Studio, Streamlit, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
Required Skills:
- **Programming**: Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, FastAPI), Node.js, Java (plus).
- **AI & ML**: Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework, Agent Development Kit (Google).
- **Data Engineering**: Spark, PySpark, Databricks, Airflow.
- **Databases**: Neo4j, Pinecone, BigQuery.
- **Cloud Platforms**: Azure (AI Foundry).
- **MLOps**: MLflow, Kubernetes, Docker.
- **BI & Visualization**: Looker, Data Studio, Streamlit.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Professional experience equivalent to 10+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in data science.
- Relevant cloud or AI certifications (e.g., Azure AI, MLflow Certified Practitioner) preferred.
