**Job Title:** DevOps / SRE Production Support
**Role Summary:**
Provide production‑level support and reliability engineering for a payment‑technology platform. Leverage extensive experience in cloud, container orchestration, and DevOps practices to maintain uptime, automate deployments, and enhance site reliability.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver 24/7 support for mission‑critical payment services.
- Manage incidents, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem reporting.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Heroku) and container workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC).
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost‑optimisation of cloud resources.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and recovery processes using scripting and configuration‑management tools.
- Implement observability, alerting, and log‑management solutions.
- Develop and maintain playbooks for incident response, disaster recovery, and change management.
- Contribute to security hardening, compliance, and audit readiness.
**Required Skills:**
- 8+ years in production support/DevOps roles; 7+ in payment‑technology industry.
- Proficient with AWS, Azure, and Heroku cloud services.
- Expert in container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
- Strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation experience (Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
- Solid understanding of SRE principles, blameless post‑mortems, and reliability metrics (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs).
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk).
- Familiarity with network protocols, database performance, and payment‑gateway integrations.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Optional: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent cloud/containers certifications.
