**Job Title:** Manager, Platform
**Role Summary:**
Lead a platform engineering team that designs, operates, and continuously improves HealthVerity’s cloud infrastructure on AWS and Databricks. Drive strategic initiatives for reliability, performance, observability, automation, and cost efficiency while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
**Expections:**

- Cost optimization of compute, storage, and data orchestration assets.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own and manage AWS (ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, EventBridge) and Databricks environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation), and internal tooling.
- Build and maintain observability stack (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus) with SLOs and automated incident response.
- Define platform strategy for scale, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Mentor and grow a hybrid team of platform, DevOps, and data infrastructure engineers.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and compliance teams on long‑term roadmaps.
- Optimize cloud resources across compute, data, and orchestration layers.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering experience.
- 3+ years leadership in technical teams, ideally in hybrid or distributed settings.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EventBridge) and Databricks.
- Strong background in Spark, EMR, Airflow, and scalable data pipelines.
- Proficient in IaC with Terraform/Chef/CloudFormation and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Helm).
- Advanced coding in Python (and SQL); familiarity with Go or Node.js is a plus.
- Proven track record in observability, performance tuning, and automation.
- Excellent communication for stakeholder alignment and cross‑functional coordination.
- Security‑centric mindset, ensuring compliance and reliability at scale.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or similar cloud certification preferred.
