**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain automated mobile test scripts for native and hybrid Android and iOS applications. Execute manual and automated test cases, perform localization and performance assessments, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with Agile teams to validate features and report defects.
**Expections:**
- 4–5 years of mobile application testing experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (read, write, test, automate).
- Proven track record with Appium, Selenium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Experience in Agile environments, using Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or qTest.
- Integration of tests within Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and linguistic accuracy skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS native and hybrid apps.
- Execute manual test cases to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, localization, and performance testing on mobile applications.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives; collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners.
- Manage defects and test artifacts using Jira and test management tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous testing and quick feedback.
- Produce detailed test reports, metrics, and stakeholder feedback.
**Required Skills:**
- Bilingual (English & French) communication and testing.
- Expertise in Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest, or equivalent.
- JavaScript and test automation frameworks.
- Agile methodology, Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or qTest experience.
- CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention to linguistic accuracy.
- Point of Sale experience preferred.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in QA or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, Appium Master) are an advantage.
