**Job title**: Senior AI Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and deploy agentic AI solutions that deliver real-world customer impact. Lead the creation of sophisticated AI workflows, from prompt architecture to serverless orchestration on AWS, ensuring safety, scalability, and efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally, mentor junior staff, and drive best practices in AI and software engineering.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement agentic AI solutions using AWS Bedrock (Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails).
- Build and orchestrate serverless workflows with Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
- Develop advanced prompt strategies (ReAct, chain-of-thought, plan‑and‑execute, reflection).
- Integrate AI agents with APIs, tools, and external resources.
- Create frameworks to evaluate agent performance, reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver integrated solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and promote AI and engineering best practices.
**Required Skills**
- 5–9 years total software development experience (Python or Java).
- Deep expertise in prompt engineering and autonomous AI agent development.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3.
- Proficiency in Python, LangChain, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong API integration, tool‑use patterns, and database optimization skills.
- Knowledge of functional programming concepts, software design patterns, and cybersecurity principles.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional) preferred but not mandatory.
